The N1ATP Repeater System

The N1ATP Berkshires DMR Repeaters are on DMR Brandmeister Network.

Although configurable on the fly (so things may be different than described here) and portable for event use, this describes the basics:

TS 1 is normally connected to BM3100 North America. Due to the constant chatter on BM3100 it simply burnt up the commercial Motorola XPR3100 at 50% power. It has been replaced with a Hytera repeater. You may key up BM3100 as you need to use it, This is a busy TG with activity 24/7. Although not policed, it is encouraged to move to a discrete TG after a while and not tie up hundreds of repeaters across the country. This is also commonly where most personal hotspots users hang out. Due to continuous chatter, the may at times be set as a Dynamic TG. Simply kerchunk the repeater and the TG will be available for a minimum of 15 minutes or as long you as use it.

TS2 is used for the N1ATP TG of 312525 and other dynamic TG’s you want to try. This could be World Wide for “DX”, Regional TG’s or TAC TG’s.

Knut commonly monitors TG3100 or TG312525.
