Are Public Service Events a Thing of the Past?

Always on the hunt for a good charity needing ham-volunteers it is clear that we in the hobby either don’t care or have become too selfish. What used to be in abundance (PSEs) is difficult to find, and if you do find them, they are no longer technologically challenging.

Another evidence the hobby is changing to what can ham radio do for me rather than how can we use our technology for charity.
