Single Repeater DMR System
When using a single DMR repeater we have two Time Slots (TS) and thus two “channels” on the one repeater. The Standard setup will then be:
Use | Frequency | Shift in Mhz | Color Code | Time Slot | Talk Group |
RACE | 449.9375 MHz | -5 | 1 | 1 | TG9 |
Logistics | 449.9375 MHz | -5 | 1 | 2 | TG9 |
Multi Site Linked DMR Repeaters
When the venue is larger multiple DMR repeaters will be networked for continuous coverage. Since there are two Time Slots available at all sites, there will again be to main “channels”. Since the repeaters are linked through Brandmeister a discrete Talk Group is used for each TS.
Use | Site | Frequency | Shift in Mhz | Color Code | Time Slot | Talk Group |
RACE RPTR 1 | 1 | 449.9375 MHz | -5 | 1 | 1 | 312525 |
Logistics Rptr 1 | 1 | 449.9375 MHz | -5 | 1 | 2 | 212530 |
RACE RPTR 2 | 2 | 443.9375 MHz | +5 | 1 | 1 | 312525 |
Logistics Rptr 2 | 2 | 443.9375 MHz | +5 | 1 | 2 | 312530 |
Roaming Configuration
For Motorola and Hytera Users, roaming based on Talk Group is available. Make sure IP Connect is checked active in the CPS.
HotSpots
Hotspots may be used where the repeater coverage has voids. A HotSpot should be set to the assigned Talk Group (312525 for RACE or 312530 for Logistics).
